Indian Cinema is going places, of which we are very much aware. But when you see a whole crew manning the entire film, it’s a big news. You guys heard it right “Woolfell” is an international animated feature film project which is being directed by Prabhakar Hariharan, a former VFX consultant and also the co-producer of an upcoming Hollywood film BTM “The Bremen Town Musicians”.

This animated feature film is being edited by the most acclaimed and National Award winner Praveen K.L. It’s written by Dhivya Venugopal, former show director for “Star Vijay TV”, a creative consultant for a leading production house and also the project head of the movie BTM.

This has the ace sound designer Kunal Ranjan, who is known Vishwaroopam, Uttama Villain and Hollywood flick “Whilplash”, and the upcoming Diwali dhamaka “Thoongaavanam”. The technical head of this project will be Dinesh. If you’re not aware of, he’s been the part of the most stupendous “How to Train Your Dragon” among other Hollywood films.

Yuvan Shankar Raja

The director, editor, writer, sound design, also the project head is from our land, wondering who is going to score this animated feature film?? It’s none other than our very own Yuvan Shankar Raja who is stepping in to Hollywood with this project. This would mark another music director making his presence felt in the international arena.

Woolfell is set in a futuristic hyper-utopian time, which portrays the relationship between a ruler and his son, which brings about an emotion which cannot be disregarded no matter however ahead of times we are.

The teaser is to be launched at the American Film Market in the month of November and also at the Sundance Film Festival.Post this launch “Woolfell” will progress to its production stages, and it’s heard that prominent faces from the Hollywood will be playing the lead.
