Official posters sent by Vishal’s publicist suggested that the actor’s long pending film Irumbuthirai will be releasing on May 11. But producers of small films that were censored in January and February are pressurizing Vishal to move the release date so that their films will get a proper release schedule. Vishal had to accept their demands because biggies like Rajinikanth’s Kaala have also postponed from April 27 to June 7.
Visha has sent a statement on the release date published on social networking sites and the confusion prevails among his fans and the trade.
“It’s my duty to inform the media that there has been a miscommunication regarding the release date of Irumbuthirai on May 11th. May 11th is not the release date. Due to the lack of communication and misunderstanding with the buyers the date has been announced without the knowledge of VFF and hence I want to clear the confusion regarding the same. We will announce the release date as per the regulations of Tamil Nadu Producer Council Releasing Committee. Until further notification kindly requesting the media to refrain from spreading the incorrect release date”, said Vishal in his statement.
Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music of Irumbuthirai and Samantha plays the pair of Vishal in the film while Arjun plays the powerful antagonist.
