Theri Trailer Review
The most awaited trailer of Illayathalapathi Vijay’s THERI was out earlier today. Let’s take a moment to analyse it. For starters don’t you think, it’s an evident rip off from an old Tamil film, but I don’t see anywhere a credit given to the original. Atlee got away with it the first time, and now he would continue to do that. Inspiration from Hollywood is not Atlee’s forte, he gets that in ample amount from our own Kollywood. Anyways let’s forget all that negativity.
The trailer has been cut extremely well, just like the teaser by Anthony L. Ruben. The background score compliments the trailer. One thing is very clear, the makers and the film and are going to make great bucks with the opening. The film reeks of huge production value, which will look extravagant on Silver Screen. It has best technicians on board, George Williams will be reprising the role of cinematographer in another Atlee’s movie. His work is spectacular and you can see that in the trailer. I’m excited to see Baby Nainika as Vijay’s daughter in the film, actress Meena’s daughter. She looks extremely adorable and has uncanny resemblance of her mother.
End of the Day “THERI” will satisfy the fans, general audience and as well as the family audience. The moral of the story is, Creativity takes a hike, and Duplicity takes the centre stage.
