While the tripartite meet is happening today at the Tamil Nadu Secretariat, team Thalapathy 62 has informed the Tamil Film Producers Council that they are planning to resume the shoot of their film from April 25. AR Murugadoss is directing the film and Keerthy Suresh plays the female lead. Sun Pictures is bankrolling the untitled political thriller and they have signed AR Rahman as the music composer for the film.
Due to the strike, the shoot of all Tamil films was stopped and actors are also restless as they can’t wait to get back to the work.
Arvind Swamy, the popular actor tweeted “To be honest, I am kind of getting tired of this strike. Want to get back to work. Have no idea of the progress made in the terms put forward or the negotiations . I just hope everyone can get back to working soon and making movies. Thousands affected, need quick resolutions”.
Not only Arvind Swamy, many other actors also want the strike to be over. Producers have also told Vishal, the President of the Tamil Film Producers to call off the strike as they have invested huge amount on their films and without shoot, financiers will put tremendous pressure on them.
Sources say that the strike will come to an end by the end of this week and a favorable solution will be taken.
