Mohenjo Daro Trailer Review

This trailer was exhilarating with visuals. This has that golden tone which gives an authentic feeling of a period movie. After a hiatus gap, Ashutosh Gowariker is back with a film, which is grandeur on many levels. And have chosen well in terms of selecting the lead.

Hrithik Roshan needs a film to revive his image, all his recent releases were a dud. But I’m damn sure he will get back on his feet with this film. As “Sarman” in Mohenjo Daro he will have the mileage which is required. It was surprising to see Pooja Hegde to bag a role of this potential. She looks fabulous, people who would have seen her in Mysskin’s “Mugamoodi” will have their jaws open. She looks ravishing as “Chaani”.

The film is set in the period 2600 BC. That’s way before we know India as we know during the Indus Valley Civilization. The sources say that Ashutosh took the help of Archaeologists to make this film an authentic one. The VFX looks amazing and the set-up is grand.

Moreover we have AR Rahman scoring the sound track and the background score in the teaser is already gripping.  The film has Muraleedharan as cinematographer. The film is slated for a release this Independence Day weekend 12th August 2016 A.D.
