After the fifty days strike, Tamil cinema has achieved the state of normalcy. A lot of biggies have actually resumed the shoot in various parts of Tamil Nadu. Sources say that shoot of Suriya’s NGK with director Selvaraghavan has resumed at the outskirts of Chennai where a huge set was constructed.
Dhanush’s Maari 2 is happening at the Binny Mills with Sai Pallavi and others. Director Balaji Mohan had apparently completed 40% of Maari before the strike.
The shoot of Vikram’s Saamy Square is happening in the coastal areas of Chennai and the team is said to be shooting an action sequence now. Vikram’s son Dhruv is making his acting debut with the Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy, the film is being directed by Bala and shoot has resumed now.
