In an official statement, Kamal Haasan said: “The primary focus of Makkal Needhi Maiam’s public meet this evening at Trichy would be the Cauvery water issue”. The actor turned politician added “We would bring to notice of the public at large, the key issues surrounding this dispute as also the possible solution that we all need to work on.We also would be stating some of the key policy guidelines of our party on important areas”.
Kamal said that the policy guidelines would be a precursor to the overall policy document that we would publish within 5 months. The Indian actor says that the Tamil Nadu Government is cheating and hallucinating people of Tamil Nadu by staging one day protest regarding the Cauvery issue.
Kamal Haasan has once again urged the State and Central Governments to implement the verdict of Supreme Court by forming Cauvery Management Board. Kamal is expected to address about how political parties in Tamil Nadu are not working for the betterment of people and only focuses on vote bank politics.
Kamal traveled on a train to Trichy and he also interacted with many journalists during his journey.
