What is it about: This is a Bollywood action thriller, which serves as a sequel to the 2011 film “Force”. In this we have ACP Yashvardhan joining a RAW Agent KK in finding a leak in their agency. This sequel is directed by Abhinay Deo.

Why it’s disappointing: The film loses big on logic, which we can’t ponder much as they try to cover it up with great visuals and action. And the main aspect of the performance was a big let-down.

John Abraham is as stiff as his physique, emotions have to be forced on to him. No matter what’s the situation he doesn’t seem to change his expression. He can fill out those clothes well, but the character loses out on characterization. And these kind of roles are getting too repetitive with John.

Sonakshi Sinha, who created a space in becoming an action star was underplayed and looked pretty lost around the flexed muscles.

What to watch out for: One actor manages to get your attention and that will be Tahir Raj Bhasin, after “Mardaani” he dons another negative role and did it pretty well.

The action was well choreographed by Franz Spillhaus and Allan Amin, which was a big saving grace of the film. Then it was the racy cinematography by Imre Juhasz & Mohana Krishna which was perfectly cut by Amitabh Shukla & Sanjay Sharma.

The background score by Prasad Sashte was good.

Verdict: Abhinay Deo, tried hard to give an out and out action thriller which fulfils the action part but thriller it doesn’t. Performances were weak with a meagre screenplay which totally depends on the action to move forward. Can give this one a shot for the action.
